Yield Right-of-Way Legislation takes effect on
November 1, 2006 in New York State.

American Bikers of New York, Inc. (ABATE of NY) is proud to have been formally recognized by two peer organizations for its efforts toward successful passage of A04914B/S3410B Yield Right-of-Way legislation in New York State.

ABATE of NY was presented with two plaques at the recent Motorcycle Riders Foundation (MRF) Meeting of the Minds in Indianapolis, IN.

An MRF State Legislative Award was presented to ABATE of New York for its effort to improve motorcycling safety through Right of Way violation legislation.

An American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) award was presented to ABATE of New York in recognition of its efforts to enhance motorcycle safety through the successful enactment of Right-of-Way legislation, and in grateful appreciation of its support of the AMA's Justice For All Campaign.

Present to accept the awards was Robert "Prospector" Boellner, Vice President of ABATE of NY, Inc.
